Our Team

Two perspectives.
One mission.

Ilumina is built on the belief that operational excellence and strategic capital thinking belong in the same room. That's exactly what we bring.

Drew Sease

Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Drew is a capital allocator and operator focused on acquiring durable, cash-flowing small businesses and consulting with owners and organizations ready for their next chapter. He believes some of the strongest opportunities ahead lie in pairing stable, "boring" businesses with modern tools including AI and automation that improve efficiency and unlock growth.

Through Blockhead Ventures, his personal investment LLC, he has grown a concentrated, high-conviction portfolio over 4x in approximately four years, combining macroeconomic awareness with disciplined fundamental analysis.

His background spans two startups, account management at WeWork where he managed 85+ accounts and a $5M+ P&L inside a 1,500-member community, close to a decade in high-pressure operations and client management, and co-founding Pure Coast Naturals alongside his wife, a bootstrapped clean-beauty e-commerce brand built from the ground up. He brings an operator's instinct for execution, sound judgment under pressure, and the relational trust that makes complex transactions go smoothly.

Luisa Sease

Co-Founder & Principal Consultant

With over 15 years of executive leadership in anti-trafficking and social impact work, Luisa brings a rare blend of operational rigor, trauma-informed leadership, and deeply relational strategy. She has served as a senior operations leader overseeing multi-department teams and complex cross-sector initiatives, building the infrastructure, systems, and culture necessary to scale organizations with excellence and integrity.

Luisa has led strategic growth efforts that expanded the organization's budget from $1M to over $3.8M, designing the operational backbone that enabled sustainable expansion. She spearheaded funding strategies that secured more than $5M in federal, state, and local grants, managing the full lifecycle from proposal development through compliance and closeout while ensuring alignment with mission and long-term impact.

As part of the leadership team of the Los Angeles Regional Human Trafficking Task Force, she helped strengthen multi-agency collaboration and advance survivor-centered program development. Her work integrates operational excellence with compassionate leadership — empowering teams, strengthening systems, and driving measurable outcomes that protect and restore vulnerable communities.
